• Level 3 (Books 11-12): simple digraphs sh, ch, th, ck (ship, chips, bath, neck)
Every word in every book is either a decodable short-vowel word or a tricky word listed on page 2 of that book. Even the character names can be sounded out: Rex, Pip, Gus, Jet, Dan, Kit, Tim and Meg. We checked every word of all 12 books against its list.

• Books (pages 2-49): print double-sided, flip on SHORT edge, landscape, Actual size / 100%
• Each book is 2 sheets: place Sheet 1 on top of Sheet 2, fold in half and staple on the fold
• No double-sided printer? The print guide shows how to print the fronts and backs separately
• Regular printer paper (20-24 lb / 75-90 gsm) folds best; card stock is great for the word cards
