WHY IT WORKS
• Self-checking: the letters on the correct path spell a secret message
• No guessing: the wrong arrows show real mistakes, such as multiplying only the first term or a sign slip
• Students show their work in numbered boxes, so you see the thinking, not only the path
• Every answer was calculated and checked by computer code
PERFECT FOR
• Grades 5 to 8, pre-algebra and Algebra 1 review
• Warm-ups, math centers, partner work and early finishers
• Homework, sub plans, test review and tutoring
• Homeschool and small-group intervention
HOW TO USE
• Print a maze and its recording sheet (or print them back to back)
• Pick the level that fits each student or group
• Save paper: put the maze in a dry-erase sleeve and copy only the recording sheet
• Digital: upload the .pptx file to Google Drive and open it with Google Slides, or open it in PowerPoint. Students drag numbered markers along the path and type their letters
HOW TO PRINT
• Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Chrome, Edge or Preview
• Choose "Actual size" or "100%"
• Normal copy paper (20 lb / 75-80 gsm) is perfect
• Use the black and white files for photocopying class sets
PLEASE NOTE
• This is a digital download. Nothing will be shipped.
• Colors may look a little different on screen and on paper.
