THE 300 WORDS
• Weeks 1 to 10 are the same 100 words, in the same order, as our Heart Words Flash Cards & Practice Book, so you can move straight on from it
• Weeks 11 to 30 add 200 new words, from that, with and when to though, thought and women
• Every word is labeled as a forever heart word, a for-now heart word or a no-heart word that children can sound out
• Every for-now heart word names the phonics lesson after which its heart falls off, and the teacher guide has a full table of these words

• READ IT: read the word and color a heart each time
• TAP IT & MAP IT: tap a dot for each sound, then write the letters in the boxes
• HEART IT: draw a red heart under the tricky part
• WRITE IT: trace the word twice, then write it alone
• FIND IT: color the matching words, then circle the word in a short sentence
