The lower half of each row is shaded in pale yellow or pale blue. Small letters stay inside the color, tall letters reach the top line, and tails hang below the dark baseline. Start with big lines and print a smaller size whenever your child is ready.

WHY IT IS EASY TO USE
• The color band shows the size of small letters at a glance, no counting of lines

HOW TO USE
• Read the guide pages and choose the line height where your child's small letters fill the color band comfortably
• Practice for a few minutes a day on the same size
• When the letters sit on the line and stay in the band, print the next size down
• Finish with the gray pages, then ordinary notebook paper
HOW TO PRINT
• Open the PDF on a computer and choose the file that matches your paper: A4 or US Letter
• Print at Actual size (100%), not Fit to page, so the line heights stay true
• Use ordinary white printer paper, 80 to 100 gsm (20 to 24 lb)
• Color or black ink both work
