Long Division on Graph Paper Worksheets
Category: Education / Math Workbooks
82 printable pages of long division, multiplication and regrouping on graph-paper grids, one digit per square, with color place-value columns and a full answer key. A4 + US Letter.
Your child knows how long division works, so why is the answer still wrong? Usually the digits drift out of their columns. This workbook puts every problem on a ready-made grid, one digit in each square, so the numbers stay lined up and the place value stays right.

HOW THE PAGES WORK
• Every problem sits in its own grid with the division bracket, signs and lines already drawn
• Divisor, dividend and factors are printed one digit per square, ready to solve
• Place-value letters above each column: O ones, T tens, H hundreds, Th thousands, TTh ten thousands
• Guided pages color each place-value column; Independent pages keep the letters but drop the color, so the habit sticks
• Gray top row for carrying and regrouping, a faint R box for remainders, a faint placeholder zero in 2-digit multiplication
• 6 problems per page (8 for add and subtract), with name, date and score lines
• Calm cream pages with one color per section, easy to find in a stack
PERFECT FOR
• Grade 4 and grade 5 students learning long division and multi-digit multiplication
• Kids who understand the steps but make mistakes because their columns wander
• Children whose handwriting is large, messy or uneven, including learners with dysgraphia, who need more structure on the page
• Math intervention groups, tutors, homeschool families and classroom teachers
• Homework support, warm-ups, summer review and test prep
HOW TO USE
• Start at Level 1 and work up, one page a day
• Use the Guided pages first, then the Independent pages of the same level
• Check answers in the key at the back (pages 73-82)
• Print the blank graph paper for any other math homework
HOW TO PRINT
• Choose A4 or US Letter to match your paper
• In the print window set Scale to "Actual size" or 100% so the grids keep their true size
• Normal printer paper works; 100 gsm / 24 lb paper feels nicer
• Color looks best; in black and white the colored columns print as light gray and still work
• Print as many copies as you need for your own family or classroom
